Open source software for Windows - The Unofficial Microsoft Weblog
Found this site that has a lot of GREAT open source (free) software for Windows. Top software picks for the everyday user in my opinion are:
- Audacity (sound editing)
- VideoLan (video/dvd playback)
- WinDirStat (disk usage reporting)
The techies of course I’m sure already have the goodies such as nmap, tightvnc, cygwin, and ethereal. If not then you are not a good geek! ![]()
