More on Google Calendar- It’s Great!

I have to post about Google Calendar again as I’m loving it more and more. Here are some reasons to use Google Calendar if you don’t:
- Ability to create your own calendar and then share it with others
- Ability to add calendars that others create and publicly share, for example sports team calendars with game dates, holidays, movie releases
- Quick Add function allows you to add calendar events easily, for example you can add an event by simply typing “Dinner tonight 7pm”
- Event Reminders automatically sent to your cell phone
- Use to easily send invitations out for parties
My personal experience: I have my own calendar in which I create entries and Shannon has her own calendar- we each share it with each other so we can see both our entries in the same calendar. Then I have a calendar added for holidays, birthdays, one I created with UCF games, and another with Dolphins games that someone shared on the Internet. All of these show up in a simple calendar view. It is a great tool that makes it easier to share info with friends and family.
