Apple unveils the Apple iPhone

After much anticipation and speculation Apple finally showed the world what they believe will be the next BIG product by unveiling the upcoming Apple iPhone at MacWorld 2007.
The iPhone combines the functionality of a cell phone, a widescreen video iPod, and Internet ready PDA. It will allow you to browse the web, send emails, view maps and all this will be down using the multi-touch display- in fact there is only a single button on the whole unit.
Looks very cool, but as the release date nears (June 2007) it will be interesting to see how the reviews come through with things such as durability, battery time, wireless signal, and ease of use. They say that typing on a touch display keyboard is easier then the little ones built on PDAs now- I’m skeptical on that, but hey I’m not complaining I’d love to get my hands on one now!
Oh and for those curious, expect to sign a 2 year Cingular wireless deal and drop $500 to get one.
