As many of you know I’m a big Cubs fan, and today we’ve moved ever so closely to taking over the division lead from Milwaukee. The Cubbies got another phenomenal performance from Carlos Zambrano who gave up only 2 hits while getting 3 hits at the plate on his own on the way to a 6-0 victory over the Reds. Meanwhile the Brewers squandered a 5-0 lead giving up 9 unanswered runs to lose 9-5. Yep folks, that means the Cubbies are a half game out of the leading the NL Central!!! GO CUBBIES!

Yea its quite impressive. Zambrano is looking really sharp and the cubs look like they’re in a groove.

I must take responsibility for the loss tonight (Monday) I should have known better than to post before we actually took the division lead.
