Considering this week for me has revolved around my mouth with two root canals and a second retreatment of one of those root canals all in 4 days- I figured I’d keep up with the dental theme.

If you are one of those unlucky ones that consistently get canker sores in your mouth, well I’m here to tell you the answer to your problems may be easier than you realize. I used to get canker sours all the time, sometimes 2-3 at a time, and usually a month wouldn’t go by with me getting them more than a few times. However that all changed about two years ago when I read that using a toothpaste called Biotene was supposed to help keep them from occurring. So I put my trusty Crest aside and gave Biotene a try thinking “yeah right” but sure enough it worked like a charm!

The sucky thing is that Biotene was a bit more expensive (although worth it) and somewhat hard to find. After my second tube ran out I was lazy and just started using my wife’s AIM and kind of forgot about it. A month or so later I realized that I still hadn’t gotten any canker sours using Aim either- and Aim is cheap and easy to find everywhere. It’s now been about two years and if my memory serves me correct I haven’t gotten a single canker sour. Results don’t lie.

So if you have cankers, put down your Crest and try out Aim! And if that doesn’t work, well there’s always Biotene!
